First Love is on again in 2008. The exhibition was first launched as a way of promoting the creative work of art educators. It celebrates the talent, skill and creativity of teachers across Western Australia. The third edition of First Love will be held in the Cullity Gallery located at UWA in the faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts, Nedlands.

Become a printmaking expert with Peter Lowe, a professional art educator and artist for over 25 years. Peter works in a variety of printmaking mediums and specialises in etching. Peter is currently working at the Art Gallery of Western Australia as the Visitor Development Manager. Come and learn the basics of etching and how to safely apply this technique in the classroom in this workshop. Areas covered include: the etching process, image transfer, line work, aquatinting, soft ground, embossing, sugarlift and printing. The cost is $125.00 and will be held at Central TAFE, 25 Aberdeen Street, Northbridge on Friday, 10 October 2008.
